How to Add/Remove Liquidity

Adding and removing liquidity on Squirrel Swap is simple and intuitive. Here’s a step-by-step guide:

How to Add Liquidity

1. Connect Your Wallet

   • Ensure that your Phantom wallet is connected to Squirrel Swap. If you haven’t already connected it, follow the steps outlined in the Getting Started section.

2. Navigate to the Liquidity Section

   • On the Squirrel Swap platform, go to the Liquidity page to start adding liquidity.

3. Select Tokens to Add

   • Choose the two tokens you wish to provide to the liquidity pool (for example, $SOL and $SQRL).

   • You must provide an equal value of both tokens to maintain the pool's balance.

4. Enter Liquidity Amount

   • Enter the amount of each token you wish to add to the liquidity pool. The platform will automatically calculate the proportion of each token you need to add based on their current market values.

5. Add Liquidity

   • Once you’ve confirmed the token amounts, click Add Liquidity.

   • Your Phantom wallet will prompt you to confirm the transaction. Review the details and confirm to proceed.

6. Transaction Confirmation

   • After the transaction is confirmed, your liquidity will be added to the pool, and you will receive LP tokens in return.

How to Remove Liquidity

1. Navigate to the Liquidity Page

   • Go to the Liquidity page to see your active liquidity pools.

2. Select the Pool to Withdraw From

   • Choose the liquidity pool you wish to withdraw from and click Remove Liquidity.

3. Select Amount to Withdraw

   • You can withdraw your liquidity in full or in part, based on the LP tokens you’ve received.

4. Confirm the Transaction

   • Phantom wallet will ask you to confirm the removal of liquidity. Once confirmed, your tokens will be returned, and the LP tokens will be burned.

5. Transaction Complete

   • After a few moments, the liquidity will be removed, and you’ll have the tokens back in your wallet.
